Artsy kids will enjoy this online art game, and be exposed to some modern art.
For any enthusiast of Pollock’s particular style of painting there’s a neat flash site by London based artist Miltos Manetas (original design by Stamen) which encourages the frustrated artist in us all to vent and create a drip-style masterpiece!
Tips: Click the space bar or enter button to erase your drawing and the mouse to change the color of your brush.

The game Untangle challenges you to simply fix the lines so that they do not cross. Simply? Ha!
It starts out simple, but gets trickier and trickier.

“Xavier Enigma’s Next Physics Game. Draw your own shapes and let gravity take its toll. Circles are near impossible, but levers are easy.”
My 9-year-old loves these. The one we are most familiar with is Crayon Physics, a freeware game.
“You play with crayons and physics. The goal of the game is to move the red ball so that it collects the stars. You can cause the red ball to move by drawing physical objects. “

If your unschooler/homeschooler likes geography, or needs some practice, this geography flash game is just the thing you need.
“This is a fun, fast little game that’ll test your reflexes as well as your recollection of capitals and famous places; and maybe you’ll learn a few things as well. But I’d suggest you practice a bit before you challenge your kids!”
Brought to you by TravelPod.com, it ranks your geography IQ based on how many places you can find and how accurately you find them. The places get harder as you go along, and include famous places from history, like the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Hanging Gardens. It can be pretty difficult.
If you get one totally wrong, you might get a snarky comment like “This is Earth. You know that, right?”
